Headache Center

In 1997, a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, psychologists, and psychiatrists set out to deliver the most advanced care possible for patients with headache disorders. Today, the Jefferson Headache Center is one of the most comprehensive centers of its kind. This preeminent clinical, research, and academic enterprise is a globally recognized destination for its innovative and effective strategies for treating headaches.

Central to the Jefferson Headache Center’s approach is a shift in thinking that incorporates patient lifestyle changes and psychological wellness factors into treatment protocols. Jefferson Headache Clinic’s reputation as an innovator in the field has drawn the leadership of industry-leading specialists, who have pioneered clinical patient care and research into all aspects of headache disease. Prominent among them are Jefferson Headache Center doctors Stephen Silberstein, a renowned neurologist and one of the world’s foremost headache specialists, and William Young, also a celebrated neurologist and a leading voice in patient advocacy.

As a result of the partnership between the Jefferson Headache Center and Care Tuner, we are blending technology, pain neuroscience, and behavioral psychology to reshape how we deliver comprehensive care to those living with this chronic disease.
