Introduction

This website (the “Site”) is provided and operated by CareTuner, Inc. (CareTuner.com) (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are strongly committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. Please carefully read the following Privacy Policy.

Any person (“you” or “your”) accessing, browsing or otherwise using this Site, either manually or via an automated device or program on a computer or handheld mobile device, shall be considered a “User.” The purpose of this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is to explain the type of information that we collect from our Users, what we do with that information, and with whom we share this information. By accessing, browsing or using the Site, you agree that you fully understand and consent to this Policy and all other terms relevant to your use of the Site, including our Terms of Use.

This Agreement was written in English (U.S.). To the extent any translated version of this Agreement conflicts with the English version, the English version controls. Please note that the “Applicable Law” Section contains certain changes to the general terms for Users outside the United States.

Personally Identifiable Information/Site Registration

For example, the the site or any of our apps feature enables patients to register at our Site where they can create an individualized profile, which may include information relating to their experience with epilepsy including seizure episodes, medications, side effects, past medical operations, epilepsy history in the family, other conditions in the family, hobbies, moods, and quality of life. We may also request a User provide his/her gender, age, and state of domicile, for demographic purposes only.

Anonymous Browsing Information

Through the use of cookies (see below) and other techniques, our servers may collect your Internet Protocol address, your computer’s or handheld mobile device’s operating system, the name of the domain you used to access the Internet, the website you came from and the website you visit next.

  • IP Address. We may record the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer or handheld mobile device when you visit our Site. Without more, the IP address does not identify you personally, but it is what allows us to maintain communications with you as you move about our Site.

Children’s Privacy Protection

This Site is a general audience web site not geared towards children. We are committed to protecting children’s online privacy and this Site does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 16. If you are under 13, you agree that you will not provide personal information about yourself to us through the Site.
